The wildebeest migration is definitely something to see before you die. Please take a look at some of our photos from the trip. We stayed in two different camps over the course of two weeks, selected for their access to river crossing viewings and Big Cats. Nature was kind to us and delivered seven Wildebeest crossings (!!!) - having said that, our group was patient, sometimes sitting it out for five hours waiting to see whether these bewildering creatures 'would just do it'. We also saw terrific sightings of Cheetah kills, Lion kills and Leopard as well as very interesting Hyena families, mating Impala, Vultures galore (we had a lot of fun with landing shots) and various other smaller, but nevertheless interesting game. We had a great group on the trip including one chap who hadn't previously owned a camera. He was a fast learner with some natural flair and having borrowed Julie's a few times (!) he has now bought his own Canon 500 mm lens! We came away with magical memories and some great photographs.
Do let us know if you would like to come on our next Wildebeest migration trip in August 2007 or whether you would like us to arrange a similar trip specifically for you.
