Q: How good do I need to be at photography?
A: Our clients range from complete beginner, never owned a camera to in one case, a professional photographer wanting to build more wildlife into his portfolio. Because we travel as a small group, usually no more than six or eight, we can meet the requirements of everyone in the group.
Q: I have been told that you allow your guests to stay out on game drives all day. What happens if I don’t want to?
A: Yes, that’s true. We find that’s what most people want but are not usually allowed to do. There will be days though when someone in the group wants to take it a bit easier or there may be a non-photographer partner who wants to take it a bit easier most days. We can usually accommodate this without compromising what most people want to do.
Q: We want to travel as a couple but one of us is a mad keen photographer and the other one isn’t.
A: Please see above. As long as the photographer is allowed to stay out for as long as they want, we can usually find a way to get the non-photographer back to camp to relax when they have had enough.
Q: How long has ShutterspeedTravel been in business?
A: Since 2005.
