Bonobos in the DRC: August 22-28, 2009

Cost: Euro 900 approximately, excludes international flights to and from Nairobi and Kinshasa.  The cost may vary slightly due to factors outside of our control but in the unlikely event of this happening you will of course be advised.

This trip has been designed so that it can be combined with the Maasai Mara Wildebeest Migration trip which follows immediately but it is possible to do just one trip or the other.

Arriving in Kinshasa from Nairobi on Saturday 22nd August we will make the short drive to our selected Bonobos reserve where we will spend six days observing and interacting with juvenile and adult Bonobos. These magnificent apes are matriarchal and have wonderful personalities and are best known for some of their behaviour – do some googling and you will see what we mean! We return to Nairobi on Friday 28th August.
